Design by Joe Colombo 1969
In production by Bieffeplast from ca. 1970 to 1999 (as far as I know) and is still in production by B-Line.

This is a very rare first series Boby without the printed signature of Joe Colombo at the lower shelf. Nobody seems to know, when Bieffeplast started to imprint Joe Colombo’s signature, which is common in most of the Boby’s. Maybe when it started to become famous to a wider public, or when Joe Colombo died. Possibly around early 70s.
That the ones without the printed signature are from the first series is confirmed by a top expert of a German online auction house (simply check at search engines).

This one has a nice patina and unfortunately 3 small cracks.

It is from the estate of an architect and was used what it was originally designed for.

An absolute rare piece of Design history. (I am so lucky to have another early version Boby).

Part of the Design collection of MOMA. (Not even they have this early version).
